Verify Your Bank Account With A Previous Transaction

1. On your bank statement, look for a previous MePay payment and make a note of the number on the reference.
   • The screenshot below is an example of what the reference can look like. Do not enter the numbers in this screenshot.
     
     
   • If you are with an online-only or more minor bank, you may experience an issue obtaining your verification code from your banking app. If you experience this issue, please see Can't Find DEFT Number / DEFT Verification Failed for steps.
     
     
2. Enter the reference number on the "Verify your MePay bank account" card on the Client Access home screen.
   • If your verification fails, please see Can't Find DEFT Number / DEFT Verification Failed for steps.
3. Click Verify Bank Account. Once verified, the card will disappear.

Verify Your Bank Account With A New Transaction

1. On the Client Access home screen, you will see the "Verify your MePay bank account" card. Click Request New Transaction.
   
2. You will see a confirmation popup. Click Continue.
   
3. On your bank statement, look for the $1.00 MePay payment and make a note of the number on the reference.
