Your Rental / Tenancy Ledger | PropertyMe Mobile App (Tenant)

1. At the bottom of the screen, tap Financials.
   
2. At the bottom of the screen, tap Save report to generate your ledger
   • Currently, it is not possible to specify a date range for the rental ledger.
     
3. The report will open on a new page for you to download. The steps to download the document will vary depending on your device.

The Rental / Tenancy ledger includes information regarding all of your payments and current tenancy information, such as current rent and rent arrears, upcoming rent adjustments, etc.

If you have any specific queries regarding your ledger, please contact your agent for clarification.

• The first section of the report is the basic information about your tenancy.
  
  • Name: Your name.
  • Address: The address of the property you are renting.
  • Rent: Current rent amount and frequency.
  • Paid to: The current paid to date.
  • Statement to: The date that the report was generated.
    
    
• The second section provides further information regarding your tenancy.
  • All rental information is current as of the date the report was generated.
    
    
  • Rent arrears: The current rent arrears.
  • Invoices arrears: The current invoice arrears.
  • Deposit: The total amount of funds against your deposit.
  • Daily rate of rent: The daily rate of the current rent amount.
  • New rent: The rent amount of the next rent adjustment.
    • Will be blank if there are no upcoming rent adjustments.
      
      
  • New rent from: The date that the increase will start from.
    • This date is based on your paid to date, not today’s date.
    • Using the example above, if you are paid up to or past 01/03/2022, before today’s date is 01/03/2022, the adjustment will apply immediately.
      • Will be blank if there are no upcoming rent adjustments.
        
        
  • Bond required: The total amount of bond required for you to pay.
  • Bond received: The total amount you have paid to bond.
  • Move in: The date you moved in or will move into the property.
  • Move out: The date you vacated or will vacate the property.
  • Agreement start: The date your agreement started.
  • Agreement end: The date your agreement ends.
    
    
• The third section, called Pending Payments, is where your uncleared MePay direct debits are recorded.
  
  • Payment Date: The date the bank was instructed to debit the funds out of your bank account.
  • Receipt Date: The date the funds were received in the agency’s trust account.
    • This column will always be blank in this section as all transactions listed here are uncleared, so they are not receipted.
      
      
  • Ref: The receipt reference number.
    • This column will always be blank in this section as all transactions listed here are not receipted.
      
      
  • Type: This column notes if the direct debit is for Rent or Invoice.
  • Details: Information regarding the direct debit.
  • Rent:
    • "Paid to 21/02/22": The date this transaction will move your paid to date to.
    • "(from 14/02/2022)": The end date of the most recent rental period you had paid in full before this payment.
    • "Pending $500 for Pending MePay payment made on 23/02/2022": The amount that was debited and the date it was debited on.
      
      
  • Amount: The total amount of the payment.
  • Arrears $ (days): The total amount of arrears you were in on the date the payment was processed.
    
    
• Processed Payments will list all payments debited from your bank account, that have cleared into the real estate trust account.
  
  • Payment Date: The date the bank was instructed to debit the funds out of your bank account.
    • This column will always be blank as this section doesn't record the date the funds were debited.
      
      
  • Receipt Date: The date the funds were received in the agency’s trust account.
  • Ref: The receipt reference number.
  • Type: This column notes if the direct debit is for Rent or Invoice.
