How can we help?

Enable MePay

  1. Click Get Started on the "Want an easier way to pay rent?" card.
  2. Enter your billing details.
    • These fields will prefill with information already used in your account, so you don't need to update it if it is correct.

  3. Scroll down and enter your personal bank account details.
    • If you do not have an Australian Bank account, you cannot use MePay.

  4. Click the first checkbox to agree to $1.00 being deducted from your account for verification purposes.
    • This is required so we can verify that you have access to the bank account that you wish to deduct your payments from.

  5. Click the second checkbox to confirm that you are authorised to submit direct debit instructions for this bank account and that you agree to the MePay Product Disclosure Statement.
  6. Click on Confirm Payment Details to continue.

  7. Check your bank account for the $1 direct debit.
  8. Make a note of the number in the reference.
    • The screenshot below is an example of what the reference can look like. 
      Do not enter the numbers in this screenshot.

    • If you are with an online-only or smaller bank, you may experience an issue with obtaining your verification code from your banking app. If you do experience this issue, please contact us directly via customersupport@propertyme.com so we can resolve this for you.

  9. Return to the Home screen.
  10. Enter the number in the "Verify your MePay bank account" card
  11. Click Verify Bank Account.

  12. Decide if you want to set up automatic payments now or later.
    • If you wish to set up automatic payments later, click Maybe later. You are now ready to use MePay.

    • If you wish to set up automatic payments now, click Enable Rent and Invoice Payments.

  13. On the next screen, you will see the current payment schedules. By default, both rent and invoice payments are scheduled to be debited three days before the payments are due.
    • If you are happy with this setup, click on Confirm this Payment Schedule. You are now ready to use MePay.

    • If you want to change the schedule, click on Change Payment Schedule.

    • Adjust the payment schedules for rent and invoice payments as you wish.

      Disabled

      No automatic rent payments. You can process payments manually via MePay.

      Automatic rent payments

      • Automatic Schedule
        • The nominated bank account will be debited the total amount due three business days before the due date.

      • Custom Schedule
        • You can choose the amount, frequency, and start and end date of the automatic rent payments.

      Invoices
      Disabled No automatic invoice payments. You can process payments manually via MePay.

      		 Automatic invoice payments. The nominated bank account will be debited the total amount due three business days before the due date.

  14. Click on These look Good to save your changes.

  15. Click on Confirm this Payment Schedule to save your changes. You are now ready to use MePay.
