This article will explain how to set up MePay for your current tenancy and how to verify it.

Start The Setup Process
- On the side menu, click Home.
- Click either of the following:
- Pay Now (against a pending rent or invoice)
- Make A Payment (top right corner)

Can't see either button?
This could be due to multiple reasons, such as the agency not offering this payment option, it not being enabled for your account yet, or it being automatically disabled due to too many failed payments.

Contact your Property Manager to see if they offer this option and to have them enable it for your account.

- Pay Now (against a pending rent or invoice)
- Double-check your Billing Details. Make any adjustments as needed.
- Enter the account details of your Australian bank account.
- Click the checkbox against "I agree to $1.00 being deducted immediately for the purpose of verifying my account. The amount will be credited to my rent payment."
- This is required so we can verify that you have access to the bank account from which you wish to deduct your payments.

- Read over the MePay Product Disclosure Statement.
- Click the checkbox against "I confirm that I am authorised to submit direct debit instructions for this bank account and that I have read and agree to the MePay Product Disclosure Statement"
- Click Confirm Bank Details.
- The next screen will advise you to check for a $1 direct debit from your account in the next 1-2 days. In the meantime, click "Return to Home".
Verify Your Bank Account

Once the $1 has been debited from your account, note the number in the reference.

Do not enter the numbers in this screenshot.

- On the Home page, you should see a card stating "Verify your MePay bank account". Enter the reference number against this card.
- Click Verify Bank Account.

Once verified, the card will disappear. The card will disappear, and your MePay will be set to Manual for rent and invoice payments. You can now take action on any of the following:
- Pay Rent Using MePay | Web Access (Tenant)
- Pay Holding Deposit Using MePay | Web Access (Tenant)
- Pay An Invoice Using MePay | Web Access (Tenant)
- Automate MePay Payments (Direct Debit) | Web Access (Tenant)
