Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your internet-based account by requesting a code from another device to permit entry.
When Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is enabled, you will occasionally receive a prompt asking you to enter a six-digit code.
You can enable this setting via your Client Access; however, it is not possible to enable it via the PropertyMe App. You must enable it via the web browser.
- Log into your Client Access via the web browser.
- Click on the three white lines in the top right corner of the page
- Click Profile.
- On the top left corner of the screen, click Edit.
- On the left-hand side menu, click Security.
- Click Login details.
- Click Enable against Two-factor authentication.
- Enter your password.
- Click Continue.
- If you haven't already, download your preferred authentication app onto your mobile device.
- Click Yes, Ready to Scan the Code.
- Using the authentication app, scan the QR code.
- Enter the 6-digit code.
- Click Connect App.
-
You will be given a list of 10 emergency codes to use if you have lost your phone or the battery is flat.
-
Make sure to note down or take a screenshot of these codes.
-

-
Each code can only be used once.
-
- Once you have saved the codes, click the checkbox against I have saved my recovery codes.
- Click Finish and Enable.
