Update Bank Account Details In MePay | Web Access (Tenant)

This article will explain how you can update your bank details in the Payment Settings via the PropertyMe Client Access web version.

The screens you see will depend on the PropertyMe plan your property manager’s agency uses. We’ll guide you through the right steps.

Update Bank Details For Direct Debit

Manage PayTo Agreement
  1. From the Home screen, click Automatic Payment Settings.
    Tap Automation Payment Settings.png
  2. Click Update Payment Details.
  3. Enter the account details of your Australian bank account.
  4. Click the checkboxes to agree to and confirm:
    • $1.00 being deducted from your account for verification purposes.
    • You are authorised to submit direct debit instructions for this bank account
    • You agree to the MePay Product Disclosure Statement.
       
  5. Click Update Linked Bank Account.

  6. You will be redirected to the Payments screen, where the Direct Debit card will state Pending. Check for a $1 direct debit from your account in the next 1-2 days.
     
  7. Once the $1 has been debited from your account, note the number in the reference.
  8. On the Home page, you should see a card stating "Verify your MePay bank account." Enter the reference number on this card.
  9. Click Verify Bank Account.
  1. Cancel the agreement via the web version of the PropertyMe Client Access, your internet banking or your mobile banking app.
  2. Create a new PayTo agreement with the updated details.
